Chuo Engineering Action Plan

The following action plan has been formulated for our employees to be able to manage both their work and home life and to create an ideal working environment so they can fully utilize their skills and capabilities.

1. Action Plan Period

5 years: from April 1, 2010 until March 31, 2015

2. Description (Specific Goals, Actions and Implementation Period)

(1) Goal To provide information in order to encourage a proper understanding of the options available for managing work and raising children.
Action By informing all employees of the working conditions and available options for maternity leave and sick/injured child care leave, this helps employees understand these conditions when taking leave and it leads to better job satisfaction and overall improvement.
(2) Goal To inform employees about maternity leave, overtime work and late-night work restrictions based on the Child Care and Family Care Leave Act, about the childcare leave benefits based on the Employment Insurance Act, and about the maternity leave system (before/after childbirth) based on the Labor Standards Act.
Action Improve the operational level and understanding of the company rules and regulations, such as those related to child and family care leave, maternity protection and spouse maternity leave, etc., as well as an understanding of all relevant laws.
